NSpeex.Silverlight for WP7

Dec 26, 2011 at 12:37 PM

The is a plain Silverlight version of NSpeex, but unfortunately it is not possible to use it in Windows Phone projects, due to the fact, that the code makes use of code contracts, that are not yet available in Windows Phone. This is one of those cases when using advanced language features reduces applicability of the solution.

I would like to see a NSpeex.WP solution in source code. Would an author please consider adding an maintaining one?

Hi maxpavlov,

I added code contracts originally for the .Net builds but then started to provide a Silverlight build which now sees a lot of attention coming from WP7. I have come to the conclusion that I will take the code contracts out replacing them with plain old if-throw clauses.

This will be included in the next release! But I try to avoid having a seperate solution of WP.
